Biography
George Taylor, aka ‘JuleGT’ is an established guitarist, songwriter, and guitar teacher from North London/Herts, with almost 20 years’ experience as a musician.

His first taste of global recognition came in 2006-2007, when he auditioned to be the next guitarist in a well-known American rock band whilst studying Music Technology at West Herts College, and consequently, the project went viral and he garnered a loyal worldwide following.

Shortly after, George went on to study Popular Music Performance at Southampton Solent University, where he formed the pop/rock band, ‘Identity Thief,’ from which he achieved local radio play, performed at various music festivals, and built up a big fan base.

In 2012, George recorded an album produced by the famous Greek rapper, Stereo Mike (who has won an MTV Award, and performed at the Eurovision Song Contest).

Between 2013-2017, he launched Creative Industry Hub, an event company for music and fashion professionals, and he subsequently launched the largest, and most successful music industry networking event in London called ‘Strictly Go Networking For Music Professionals,’ where he worked with a whole host of music executives and artists, including Hannah Trigwell, Rory Bett, Dave McPherson, Jason Perry, Julie Weir, Mikey Demus from Skindred, Universal, Esmee Denters, Nuclear Blast Records, United Talent, and more.

Since 2015, George has been working with James Phillips, the former drummer in Shellshock, and the current drummer in The Turner Brothers, and they’ve just finished a new album, have formed a new band called Good Time Locomotive (find out more here), and are planning their debut release for 2021.

Last but not least, he also runs a private guitar and music theory school, and teaches a wide range of age groups from children up to adults, and he specialises in beginners up to advanced, and is hugely passionate about inspiring budding musicians and helping them to achieve their dreams.
